Acro Media Declared Winner of 2007 Business Excellence Award

Acro Media is humbly (and hugely) proud to announce our being declared the winner of the Business Excellence Award, at the 20th annual awards ceremony held in Kelowna earlier this week.
The Business Excellence Awards competition celebrates achievement in the local business community, with finalists in each category selected from a wide group of nominations. In the 21-40 employee category, Acro Media prevailed over two well-respected and high-performing contenders: Internet search engine marketer/researcher Enquiro, and boat dealer/service provider Dockside Marine.
BMO Bank of Montreal was the special sponsor of a handsome trophy, gratefully (and ecstatically) accepted by Acro Media founding partners Shae Inglis, Shane Spraggs, George Andres and Jason Poole.
The competition was co-sponsored by the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce, local law firm Petraroia Langford LLP and the Business Development Bank of Canada. The competition's panel of judges visited each of the finalists' workplaces before determining the winners in each of the seven categories.
Acro Media's win was in part due to its impressive fiscal growth (exemplified by 40% annual gross revenue increases over the last four years), and its workforce expansion (from 9 to 30 employees within that same four-year period). Other winning criteria included exemplary customer and community service, and harmonious employee relations.
CEO Inglis comments: "In the past, Acro Media's rapid growth stretched our resources and limited our ability to be more involved in the community. In recent years, we have grown to recognize - and greatly appreciate - the value and satisfaction that local affiliations provide. We are a local company - albeit one with an international focus - that cares deeply about where we live and work. Being recognized by the community for business excellence is an especially great honour."
